Job Summary
Pharmacy Manager leads the pharmacy team (pharmacists and pharmacy technicians), oversees patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and operational performance, and drives initiatives to support patient care programs, inventory control, financial profitability and loss prevention in a CVS Health retail pharmacy. Responsibilities include managing and developing the Pharmacy Staff, aligning operations with company values, and implementing solutions to improve outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g. APhA)
- Listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
