Job Summary
Lead and direct the Pharmacy Staff, comprising Pharmacists and Technicians, while managing all operational aspects of the pharmacy including patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory, financial profitability, and loss prevention. Oversee patient care programs and drive growth by identifying business opportunities, implementing solutions to improve performance, and fostering a collaborative team culture. Balance assignments to maximize staff strengths and address development needs while adapting plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting. Maintain the pharmacy license as the pharmacist in charge and ensure compliance with state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e., APhA)
- Listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'
- Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use)
