Job Summary
Pharmacy Manager responsible for leading and developing the store's pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care and immunization services. Core duties include coaching and onboarding pharmacy staff, ensuring safe dispensing and regulatory compliance, managing inventory (with emphasis on cold chain), supporting insurance and medication issue resolution, delivering pharmacist-led clinical care (e.g., testing and prescribing where permissible), maintaining scheduling and performance reviews, and collaborating with the Store Manager to sustain a safe, inclusive, and high-performing pharmacy operation. Required qualifications include an active pharmacist license in the store location, an active NPI, and 1-2 years of pharmacist experience, with leadership responsibilities and strong patient-centered service as essential capabilities. Preferred qualifications include participation in CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader program and ability to work across multiple store locations to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
- 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to concentrate and pivot between tasks
