Job Summary
Pharmacy Manager responsible for overseeing all medication storage and preparation in the facility/pharmacy, ensuring compliance with legal, accreditation, and certification requirements, and coordinating administrative and clinical activities. Role includes supervising pharmacy technicians, managing inventory and budget, staffing and performance, ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care and timely medication delivery, and maintaining pharmacist certifications. On-call as part of the role; hours Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; on-call rotation; role supports hospital/rehabilitation setting with coordination across nursing, doctors, and administrative areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in pharmacy or PharmD
- Must be a “good standing” licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida
- Must hold COR license
- Hospital/inpatient experience preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Ability to develop, implement and lead all aspects of pharmacy operation
