Job Summary
Lead pharmacy operations at Brookshire Grocery Company with responsibility for department leadership, prescription accuracy, collaboration with doctors and insurers, and immunization administration. Oversees interviewing, hiring, training, and development of pharmacy partners; manages inventory and supervises performance metrics including profitability, shrink, and labor data; ensures compliance with legal and company guidelines, maintains patient confidentiality, and fosters professional relationships with local doctors. Drives customer service excellence, supports MTM initiatives, and participates in community health activities and local health fairs while ensuring accuracy in billing and adherence to HIPAA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required
- Licensed pharmacist in practicing state
- Certification for administering immunizations required
- HIPAA certification required
- Minimum of 21 years of age (for driving-related policies) - not applicable to the role but reflected in qualifications?
