Job Summary
Pharmacy Manager responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering Rx accurately and timely; supervise and guide staff; manage department budget and operations; ensure adequate medication and OTC inventory; counsel patients on medications; engage in community-based marketing and public relations to raise awareness; drive customer service and pharmacy operations excellence in a retail pharmacy setting; required Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with a Class A Pharmacist license and retail pharmacy experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license a must
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail environment
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong people management skills and the ability to motivate and coach others
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
- Proven ability to build the business using community based marketing strategies
- Strong problem solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plans
- Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems a definite asset
