Job Summary
Greet and communicate with patients in trauma-informed and respectful manner. Provide ready-to-pick-up medications to patients, including accessing the pharmacy operating system to determine if prescription is ready for pick up or delivery. Schedule follow up appointments for patients, as communicated from various integrated health team members. Assist with packaging and processing medication orders for site delivery. Obtain documentations and filing paperwork as directed by pharmacists. Record all clinical services in a timely and complete fashion in the EHR and RXQ (pharmacy operating system). Maintain up to date records in EHR & RXQ. Record telephone and other clinical communications as needed in the EHR & RXQ. Manage tasks, PAQ and scanning as needed to have a complete and current chart. Maintain accurate information regarding client’s insurance status and complete CCARs/DACODs and other clinical authorization documentation as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional Requirement: Valid driver’s license required.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience
- 6+ months of customer service experience
- Knowledge of homeless issues and demonstrated sensitivity to and a desire to work with underserved populations.
