Job Summary
Prepare sterile IV medications and aseptic preparations while operating automated compounding equipment in a state-of-the-art cleanroom. Maintain USP-compliant cleanroom standards by monitoring environmental conditions and quality controls, and manage medication inventory to ensure product integrity. Partner with pharmacy leadership to support daily functions and uphold the highest standards of medication safety for hospitals across Southwest Florida. This temporary seasonal position requires a second-shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM rotating weekdays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Ability to use personal protective equipment
- Ability to gown to work in and ISO-5 environment
Desired Qualifications
- Preference of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Completion of a board certified Pharmacy Technician program
- Completion of not less than 10 hours per year of continuing education from an accredited institution
- Parenteral preparation experience
- One year related technician experience
