Job Summary
Prepare, compound, package, and deliver IV medications while maintaining optimal storage environments. Verify correct medication selection for automated dispensing cabinet refills and assist pharmacists in meeting regulatory compliance requirements. Train and educate other technicians while fulfilling all responsibilities of Pharmacy Technician I. Maintain excellent math skills, organization, and communication to ensure accuracy and efficiency in a multi-team setting. This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations across all age groups.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered Pharmacy Intern in Florida
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in Florida
- 6 months technician experience in relevant practice area
Desired Qualifications
- High School Graduate with at least (1) year pharmacy technician experience
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent customer service and compassion for our patients
- Good organization and communication skills
- Ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Flexible and dependable
- Ability to work alongside multiple team members
- One or more years of pharmacy technician experience
