Pharmacy Inventory Technician

Job Summary
Process and check in wholesale orders daily while restocking shelves with inventory and returns throughout pharmacy areas. Monitor and process returns of outdated, slow-moving, or unused medications with wholesalers to establish par levels. Prepare and participate in quarterly physical inventories, communicating product availability and changes to pharmacy staff. Make suggestions for alternate products to fill prescriptions and manage backorder problems with customers. Work Monday through Friday and alternate weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with Thursdays off. Available for quarterly inventories.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Pharmacy Technician license and/or Certification (CPhT) as per State requirement
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and alternate shifts for PTO/staffing coverages as operational needs dictate
Desired Qualifications
- Pharmacy inventory experience; minimum one year
- Pharmacy technician experience: long-term care setting
