Job Summary
Manage pharmacy inventory parameters within the dispensing system, coordinate NDC data with Parata automation, and ensure adequate on-hand quantities for all medications and supplies. Order, receive, and process inventory shipments from multiple wholesalers while enforcing expired medication policies and handling drug recalls. Assist in developing process guides, conduct cycle counts, and support semi-annual and biennial physical inventories with Finance and Auditing teams. Recognize and escalate inventory concerns promptly to maintain medication availability for medically complex seniors. Work an 8.5-hour shift Monday through Friday, with some overtime required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, including inventory management
- Licensed pharmacy technician in good standing with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and stakeholder responsiveness
- Available to work an 8.5-hour shift, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. ET (exact shift confirmed at hire); some overtime required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company-sponsored visa sponsorship
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
