Job Summary

Review and fill prescriptions issued by physicians, determine formulas and ingredients, and transfer refill information to other pharmacies. Dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care while ensuring accuracy, maintaining pharmacy files, and documenting phone orders. Provide exceptional service by greeting guests, offering OTC product recommendations, and consulting on drug interactions, side effects, and dosage. Ensure proper sanitation, handle hazardous waste disposal, and communicate guest requests for special orders. Report for assigned shifts on time, demonstrating suitable physical abilities to safely perform tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Must have completed the 1st year of Pharmacy School

  • Must have a State Pharmacy License
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License or State I.D. Card
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

  • Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, smell, talk, and hear
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds

  • Must understand emergency protocol
  • Must be able to report accidents within 24 hours

  • Must be mindful of practicing Yoke's safety standards at all times
  • Must be able to monitor displays for trip hazards or instability
  • Must be able to observe safe lifting techniques
  • Must be able to recognize safety features of all machinery
  • Must be able to understand store evacuation plan
  • Must be able to understand robbery policy
  • Must be able to understand local, state, federal and company rules, regulations, and policies regarding workplace safety, sanitation/housekeeping standards, and guest services
