Job Summary
Provide technical support and assistance to pharmacy staff under minimal supervision. Perform data entry, prepare prescriptions, control inventory, provide customer service, and perform recordkeeping functions. Perform pharmacist duties under the direct supervision and guidance of a pharmacist.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current enrollment and good standing in, or graduated within the past year from an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program or must have passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE)
- Licensed as a Pharmacy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician or Registered as a Pharmacy Intern by Washington State Department of Health upon hire
- If Licensed Pharmacy Assistant or Technician, Registration as a Pharmacy Intern by WA DOH is required no later than November 1st of employment year
