Job Summary
Conduct medication distribution, compounding, drug information services, and formulary management under pharmacist supervision. Perform medication reconciliation, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and error prevention while acting as a nursing liaison. Provide patient education and resource materials, maintain knowledge of regulatory standards, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive patient and staff data. Actively participate in programs promoting safe and effective medication use for Thompson Health patients and residents.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Pharmacy Intern Permit
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a school of pharmacy
- Must be available days, nights, weekends & some holidays
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of hospital, nursing home or institutional experience preferred
