Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at Mason Service Center performing entry-level pharmacy functions under clinical pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include medication history interviews, first dose teaching, medication counseling for prescription and OTC products, discharge counseling, education assessment, and adherence support; monitor therapies through profile reviews and lab value interpretation; develop and recommend therapeutic plans; communicate with the health care team and document in the electronic record. The role also includes serving as a preceptor for student pharmacists, participating in educational experiences, and engaging in scholarship. Requires HS diploma or GED, enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy, and active Pharmacy Intern licensure.
