Job Summary
Monitor drug therapy to improve patient outcomes and quality of care under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Recommend rational and cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives and provide accurate and efficient medication distribution. Implement and evaluate nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Maintain registration with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. Requires proficiency in mathematics and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited school of Pharmacy
- Must be Registered as a Pharmacy Intern/Extern with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be proficient in mathematics
