Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice within retail pharmacy settings. You’ll support pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, learn to operate under SOPs, and contribute to patient safety and empathy-driven care. Responsibilities include assisting with immunizations where permissible, counseling patients, handling telephonic prescriptions as allowed, supporting inventory and cycle counts, and participating in a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap to deepen knowledge of store, district, and regional operations; travel to stores in the market may be required to meet business needs. Preferred qualifications include at least 1+ year in pharmacy/retail/customer service, immunization certification potential, and proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Essential Functions: Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
