Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, immersed in a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap while supporting pharmacy teams across store operations. Responsibilities include assisting with production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment; delivering empathetic, patient-centered service; counseling patients when appropriate under supervision; soliciting patient medical history when needed; participating in immunization activities and vaccine education where permitted; maintaining SOP adherence, regulatory compliance, and high standards of patient safety; assisting in inventory activities (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories); coordinating with pharmacy leadership for coaching, training, and mentoring; and traveling to stores in the market as needed to meet business needs. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of related experience in pharmacy/retail/customer service, ability to obtain immunization certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
