Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supports the pharmacy team in multiple locations to ensure safe, accurate, and customer-focused prescription fulfillment while learning and growing toward pharmacist responsibilities. Responsibilities include following SOPs across pharmacy workflows (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), delivering empathetic patient service, counseling and answering medical questions under licensed supervision, assisting with immunizations where permitted, participating in immunization training to achieve Technician Immunizer status when eligible, performing basic inventory activities, and traveling to stores as needed to support business needs. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality assurance through DUR and red-flag detection, maintaining patient privacy and security, and contributing to an inclusive culture. Requires PharmD from a U.S. accredited program, ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines and to obtain any required intern/technician licensure, regular attendance including nights/weekends, and flexibility to support scheduling and market needs. Preferred qualifications include immunization certification, cross-store work readiness, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.”,
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
