Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in retail locations. You will apply PharmD education to real-world practice, follow SOPs, assist with prescription fulfillment, ensure patient safety and accurate dispensing, and contribute to immunization services where permitted. You’ll complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap under a preceptor and district leadership, gain experience with immunizations and vaccine administration as allowed by state regulations, and develop clinical and technical knowledge while progressing toward a Pharmacist role. The role emphasizes empathy, customer service, accurate medication handling, and collaboration within a high-performing pharmacy team. This is a part-time opportunity with schedules including nights and weekends, and may involve travel to market stores to meet business needs. The typical pay range is $19.75-$42.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility for eligible hours.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel to stores in the market to support business needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborate with pharmacy team
- Participate in immunization services where permitted by law and state regulations
