Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health: supports pharmacy teams across Retail locations, assisting with accurate prescription fulfillment, patient service, and adherence to SOPs while pursuing licensure. You’ll learn under a preceptor and district leaders through a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap, contribute to patient safety and quality assurance, participate in immunizations where permitted, counsel patients when appropriate, and help manage inventory, pricing, and drive-thru operations. The role emphasizes empathy, effective communication, teamwork, and continuous learning as you expand clinical and technical knowledge, with occasional travel to stores in the market to meet business needs. The position requires a PharmD from a U.S. program and pursuit/confirmation of pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; intern/technician licensure is also required as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
