Job Summary
Graduate Pharmacy Intern role at CVS Health in Wrightstown, PA. You will apply your pharmacy education to support pharmacy teams, follow SOPs, assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, provide empathetic patient care, participate in immunization services where allowed, and complete a 120-day comprehensive training roadmap under a preceptor and district leadership to prepare for pharmacist responsibilities. The position involves flexible scheduling, travel within the market as needed, and ongoing learning to improve patient safety and service quality.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Essential Functions: various duties as described (prescription confirmation, customer service, immunizations eligibility, etc.)
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to become immunization certified
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
