Job Summary
Provides inventory control and formulary maintenance; processes medication orders for verification; replaces medication and floor stock items; maintains narcotics inventory and sign-out records; ensures proper paperwork for pharmacy reporting and tracking; reviews patient pharmacy profiles for accurate billing; performs daily rounds to check emergency drug boxes and dispensing machines; handles all PHI and ensures compliance with pharmacy policy while prioritizing orders and delivering STAT requests.
Required Qualifications
- Meets State board of pharmacy registration or licensure requirement in the state of employment.
- Enrolled in a professional degree program of a school or college of pharmacy that has been approved by the Board and satisfactorily progressing toward meeting the requirements for licensure as a Pharmacist; OR
- A graduate of an approved professional degree program of a school or college of Pharmacy or a graduate who has established educational equivalency by obtaining a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC) Certificate, who is currently licensed by the Board of Pharmacy for the purpose of obtaining practical experience as a requirement for licensure as a Pharmacist; OR
- Qualified applicant awaiting examination for licensure or meeting Board requirements for re-licensure.
