Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in retail locations. You will help ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, assist with immunizations and counseling under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, follow SOPs, handle telephonic prescriptions, participate in inventory and cycle counts, and contribute to a compassionate patient experience. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences (KLEs), gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations, and be prepared for increasing responsibility as you grow towards a Pharmacist role. Willingness to travel to stores in the market as needed and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
