Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern role (3rd year student) supporting the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management. Opportunity focuses on expanding access and improving care, with emphasis on empathy and collaboration to deliver high-quality service to patients. Requires enrollment in ACPE-accredited program, 0-3 years relevant experience, licensure process (intern/technician as applicable), ability to attend nights/weekends, mobility and physical capability to lift up to 20 lbs, and strong communication/presentation skills. Part-time position with CVS Health, located in North Canton, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
