Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern role under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributing to patient care within the Retail Pharmacy team. Responsibilities include participating in patient safety initiatives, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management. Education requirements include enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy; preferred immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The position emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and supporting the pharmacy team to deliver accessible, affordable, quality health care; includes nights and weekends as part of regular attendance and duties.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
