Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health participates in a comprehensive training roadmap under a preceptor, applying didactic pharmacy school learning to real-world practice. Responsibilities include assisting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, following SOPs, counseling patients, and supporting immunization services where allowed. The role involves learning across store operations, including telephonic prescription processing, inventory tasks (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks), and collaborating with pharmacists and technicians to deliver patient-centered care. The position requires enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program, active intern/technician licensure (or in process), and the ability to work nights/weekends as needed; it may involve travel to stores within the market to meet business needs. The pay range is $21.00–$24.00 per hour for this part-time role, and benefits are provided according to hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
