Job Summary
As a 3rd year pharmacy intern under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment while delivering exceptional patient care. You will lead with heart by showing empathy to patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues; grow through collaboration; and help manage patient care programs. Primary duties include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management, and supporting the pharmacy team in everyday operations. The role emphasizes learning and growth, with opportunities to develop under supervision and to contribute to improving access, lowering costs, and enhancing quality of care.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
