Job Summary
3rd-year pharmacy intern at CVS Health assisting the pharmacy team with patient care, safety, and operational duties. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management. You'll work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, participate in patient care programs, and contribute to delivering affordable, accessible health care. Preferred immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). This part-time role requires regular attendance, flexibility to work nights and weekends, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
