Job Summary
3rd-year Pharmacy Intern in CVS Health's retail pharmacy setting. You will support pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and high-quality patient service while following SOPs, participating in a comprehensive training roadmap, and gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations. Responsibilities include assisting with immunizations and patient counseling (under licensed supervision), handling telephonic prescriptions, contributing to inventory tasks (cycle counts, returns-to-stocks), ensuring patient safety and confidentiality, and collaborating with pharmacists and technicians to deliver empathetic care. Ideal candidates are enrolled in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program, pursuing intern/technician licensure, and able to work nights/weekends in a part-time capacity. Expected duties emphasize clinical and technical knowledge development, attention to detail, strong communication, and flexibility to travel between stores as needed within the market.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
