Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health will support pharmacy teams across retail locations by following SOPs, assisting with prescription fulfillment, conducting basic inventory tasks, and delivering compassionate patient care. You will learn through a comprehensive training roadmap focused on key learning experiences, contribute to safe and accurate dispensing, counsel patients when appropriate under supervision, assist with immunizations where allowed by state law, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations. The role emphasizes teamwork, empathy, accurate data handling, and continuous learning, including opportunities to travel within the market to support business needs. Requires regular attendance, ability to perform mathematical calculations for prescriptions, and adherence to regulatory and professional standards. Preferred qualifications include prior related work experience and immunization certification readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
