Job Summary
3rd-year pharmacy intern role under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a CVS Health Retail Pharmacy setting. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management. Primary duties involve leading patient care programs to keep customers healthy, collaborating with team members, and delivering care with empathy and compassion. Education is through ACPE-accredited pharmacy program; requires active enrollment or acceptance, with licensure process ongoing. Preferred qualifications include immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Hours include nights and weekends in a part-time role with benefits eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
