Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams across retail locations. You’ll apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, complete a comprehensive training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences, assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, follow SOPs, and contribute to positive patient experiences. Responsibilities include immunizations where allowed, counseling patients, taking telephonic prescriptions, maintaining inventory and cycle counts, and providing coaching and mentorship within the pharmacy team. Located in Novi, MI, this part-time role requires flexibility to travel to stores in the market as needed and adherence to federal/state/local laws and CVS policies. Preferred readiness to obtain immunization certification and to expand clinical and technical knowledge; strong communication, math, and patient-service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
