Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern role at CVS Health within a retail pharmacy setting, reporting to a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and delivering high-quality customer service while assisting with immunization-related activities when eligible. The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth in a ACPE-accredited pharmacy program with available training and state-appropriate licensure requirements. The position is part-time and located in Frankfort, KY.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Ability to work regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Education: ACPE accredited pharmacy program
- Part-time schedule eligibility
- Immunization eligibility (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs; physical ability to perform duties as described
