Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, a part-time opportunity within our Retail pharmacy locations. As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern, you will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap (KLEs) to grow toward a Pharmacist role. You will support pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely prescription fulfillment, assist with immunization services where allowed, counsel patients, handle telephonic prescriptions when appropriate, conduct basic inventory tasks, and contribute to a patient-centered, compliant, and inclusive pharmacy team. You will travel as needed across stores in the market, adhere to all applicable laws and CVS policies, and participate in continuing education and on-the-job coaching to develop clinical and technical knowledge. The role emphasizes empathy, patient service, data accuracy, and teamwork, with scheduling flexibility including nights and weekends. The pay range is $18.00-$19.75 per hour for this part-time position, and benefits are available per hours worked and eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
