Job Summary

Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health (3rd year pharmacy intern) under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Involves delivering patient-centered care within a Retail Pharmacy environment, focusing on patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include leading with empathy, collaborating with team members, growing through experience, and contributing to patient care programs while meeting state guidelines and licensure requirements. Preferred immunization eligibility and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; role emphasizes ongoing training, experiential learning, and providing accessible, affordable, high-quality care. Required Qualifications

  • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • 0-3 years relevant work experience
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
  • Ability to: Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
  • Lift, scan, and bag items
  • Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
  • Reach overhead; able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
  • Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
  • Stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items
  • Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
  • Ability To: Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
