Job Summary
As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will be immersed in a comprehensive training roadmap designed to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will support pharmacy operations across workstation activities (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off), assist with prescription fulfillment, counseling and answering medical questions, participate in immunizations where allowed, help with inventory and cycle counts, and contribute to a safe, inclusive patient experience. The role emphasizes following SOPs, delivering empathetic patient care, continuing professional growth, and readiness for increasing responsibility, including potential cross-store collaboration and travel within the market as needed. Required qualifications include acceptance into or enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and active intern/technician licensure as required. The position is part-time with regular attendance, including nights and weekends, and offers a competitive benefits package where eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Attention and Focus: concentration over time
- Strong customer service and team orientation
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Mathematical reasoning for dispensing calculations
- Ability to handle physical tasks and stand for extended periods
- Experience or ability to become immunization certified (preferred)
