Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern responsible for applying didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. Activities include following SOPs, assisting with all pharmacy workflow (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off), counseling patients when appropriate, handling telephonic prescriptions, and supporting immunization services where allowed. The role involves contributing to a high-performing team, delivering compassionate patient care, completing a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, and traveling to stores in the market as needed to meet business needs. The position emphasizes patient safety, accurate prescription fulfillment, and ongoing professional development toward becoming a Pharmacist. Preferred readiness to obtain immunizer status and to work across the market; includes learning through hands-on experiences, problem resolution, and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
