Job Summary
Conduct pharmacy operations by assisting the team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while following Standard Operating Procedures. Execute comprehensive training roadmaps including Key Learning Experiences, production, pick-up, and drive-thru workflows under preceptor direction. Provide empathetic patient service through counseling, fielding medical questions, and administering immunizations where permitted, while maintaining inventory accuracy and complying with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and/or exert up to 20 lbs. of force
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 10 lbs and/or exert up to 10 lbs. of force
- Must be able to consistently lift and/or exert a negligible amount of force to move objects
- Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts
- Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed accurately
- Must have the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
- Must be able to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Must have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to become immunization certified
- Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
