Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern in a CVS Health retail location. You will support pharmacy teams to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, deliver empathetic patient service, and participate in a structured training roadmap focusing on KLEs, SOP adherence, and real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist preceptor. Responsibilities include following SOPs across workstation areas (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off), practicing effective communication with patients and colleagues, assisting with immunizations and patient counseling when allowed, handling telephonic prescriptions when appropriate, contributing to inventory and cycle counts, and traveling within the market as needed to support store operations. Preferred candidates have related experience in pharmacy or customer service, and a pathway to immunization certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus. This part-time role offers benefits and competitive pay range of $18.00-$19.75 per hour, with eligibility depending on hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
