Job Summary
3rd-year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and superior patient service. You’ll apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice under a preceptor, follow SOPs, complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs, and progressively assume greater responsibility in pharmacy operations, patient counseling, immunizations where permitted, inventory tasks, and cross-store collaboration. You’ll learn to assist with telephonic prescriptions, immunization services, and patient education while maintaining compliance with federal/state/local regulations and protecting patient privacy. The role requires flexible scheduling including potential nights and weekends, and may involve voluntary travel to stores in the market to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
