Job Summary
3rd-year Pharmacy Intern position supporting pharmacy teams in a CVS Health retail setting. You will apply pharmacy school learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, follow SOPs, assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, contribute to patient experiences with empathy and care, help with inventory and basic operational tasks, and participate in training milestones (KLEs) while potentially gaining immunization experience and cross-store coverage as needed. You’ll learn to counsel patients, handle prescriptions by phone when allowed, and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to support quality care across multiple store locations. Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited program and hold or be pursuing intern/technician licensure. Opportunities to travel to market stores and support immunization services are described as part of role responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
