Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern (3rd year) at CVS Health in a retail pharmacy setting. You will support pharmacy teams to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, assist with immunizations and patient counseling under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, follow SOPs, participate in a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations. Responsibilities include handling telephonic prescriptions when allowed, assisting with inventory and cycle counts, participating in drive-thru and front-end interactions, delivering compassionate patient service, and contributing to a safe, inclusive team environment. Expected to work part-time (nights/weekends) across stores in the market, with travel as needed to other stores. Required qualifications include active enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and licensure as an intern/technician as applicable, along with attendance and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include 1+ year in pharmacy/retail/customer service, immunization certification ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Customer Service and Team Orientation: Actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner
