Job Summary
Deliver patient care programs and ensure a safe retail pharmacy environment under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Manage patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory, and workflow while excluding final prescription verification. Lead with empathy for patients and colleagues, collaborate to improve outcomes, and facilitate a culture of caring and enthusiasm. Maintain regular attendance including nights and weekends, complete all required training within state guidelines, and obtain valid intern licensure. This part-time role supports CVS Health's mission to increase access, lower costs, and improve quality of care through authentic patient support.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
- Close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
- Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
