Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health contributes to pharmacy operations across store locations by supporting pharmacists and technicians in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, delivering empathetic customer service, counseling patients when appropriate under supervision, and assisting with immunization services where permitted. The role follows a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) and ongoing coaching from leaders, with increasing responsibility in safety and efficiency of pharmacy workflows. The intern participates in daily SOP adherence, inventory tasks, and may travel across market stores to meet business needs, while maintaining a patient-centered approach and compliant with applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
