Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern in a CVS Health Retail location supporting pharmacy teams across workflows (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off), immunizations, and patient counseling. Focus areas include applying didactic knowledge to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, following SOPs, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, and delivering empathetic patient care. Responsibilities expand with experience to include basic inventory tasks, customer service, training and mentoring teammates, and readiness to travel to other stores in the market as needed. The role emphasizes compliance with federal/state/local regulations and participation in a comprehensive training roadmap (KLEs) to prepare for a Pharmacist role. Preferred maturity includes adaptability to varied shifts, capability to immunize (where allowed), and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
