Job Summary
Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health supports the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, delivering patient care and assisting with pharmacy operations. In this role you will contribute to patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory management, and customer service while engaging in patient care programs and opportunities to expand immunization responsibilities as regulations permit. The position emphasizes teamwork, empathy, continuous learning, and a commitment to improving access to affordable, high-quality care. You will participate in a structured internship with required training, regular attendance, and the ability to work nights and weekends under state guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Able to lift, scan, and bag items; finger dexterity; visual acuity; ability to move objects up to 20 lbs
