Job Summary
3rd-year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health located in a CVS Retail pharmacy. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while learning through a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with production, drive-thru, and pick-up workflows, counseling and answering medical questions when appropriate under a licensed pharmacist, taking telephonic prescriptions for clarification when allowed, assisting with inventory and cycle counts, and contributing to a high-quality patient experience with empathy and care. The role may involve immunization support where permissible, cross-store collaboration to meet business needs, and training across the market. Required to attend and complete training within designated timeframes, maintain patient safety and privacy, and comply with relevant laws and professional standards. Preferred qualifications include immunization certification readiness and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Pay range is $18.00-$19.75 per hour for a part-time role, with benefits described during the application process.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
