Job Summary
3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health within Retail locations; participate in a comprehensive training roadmap to bridge didactic learning with real-world practice, assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, provide empathetic patient care, counsel patients when appropriate, and gain increasing responsibility under a licensed pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include following SOPs, supporting immunizations and other clinical services where allowed, handling telephonic prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with store leadership to deliver high-quality patient experiences while developing clinical and technical knowledge across pharmacy operations. Preferred path includes immunization certification readiness and flexibility to travel within market as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
