Job Summary
Manage patient care programs under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe retail pharmacy environment. Deliver authentic care to patients while handling inventory management, workflow management, and quality assurance excluding final prescription verification. Facilitate a team culture promoting caring and enthusiasm, aligning with company goals to increase access and improve quality of care. Complete all required training within state guidelines and obtain necessary licensure. This part-time role supports CVS Health's mission to help people on their path to better health through advising on prescriptions and managing chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
- 0-3 years relevant work experience
- Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently
- Ability to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts
- Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
